It is our goal through this website to provide our visitors with an opportunity to view some of the horse and mule photos from some of the various activities that occur in our area. We are Rick and Linda Conley and we live near Lawrenceburg, in southeastern Indiana just west of Cincinnati, Ohio.   We do not currently own any horses of our own, however, we love them and for more than 20 years have matched our love for horses with our interest in photography. We try to attend as many draft horse events as possible and Rick can usually be seen somewhere in the area snapping photos.  He considers himself to be a photo journalist and tries to ensure that he captures the "flavor" of the event and of the people and the horses in attendance.  Sometimes the photographer in him comes out and he posts a photo here on the website just because he likes it.

In "real life", Rick had worked as a computer specialist in the funeral industry for the largest manufacturer of burial caskets and urns in the United States for many years.  At the beginning of 2011, he decided to retire from that position and is now dedicated full time to his photography.  Linda is a homemaker and works part-time with pre-school children in the Head Start program in Southeastern Indiana.

We belong to several draft horse associations and Rick was previously one of the directors of the Kentucky Draft Horse Association (KDHA). He has an article about the KDHA on the Joy of Horses website and has also had his work published in The Draft Horse Journal.  In fact, one of his photos was the Draft Horse Journal cover photo for their Fall issue a few years back.  Rick also acts as the  "Ring Master" of The Draft Horse Web Ring website.

We decided to start this website to share our  photos. It is our intention to keep the website content interesting by continually adding new photos to the site.  We would love to hear from you!  Click on the link on the left to visit our Chat Board and let us know what you think.
