Jeff and Penny Burton invited all of their horse friends to join them in a weekend wagon train ride at their place near Brooksville in the Bracken County area of northern Kentucky. There were thunderstorms forecast for the entire weekend, but several hardy souls decided to take their chances anyway. We wound up with two days of beautiful riding weather with cool temperatures and nice breezes to keep the horses cool. The only bad weather occurred in the early evening on Saturday and everyone was able to sit in Jeff's barn and socialize while a brief thunderstorm blew through. The highlight of the weekend was Chuck Norris' goat, Harry, who joined us riding up on Chuck's wagon on Sunday.
